If my project is featured on decked out, will the work be completed free of charge?
We wish!!! If we could do that ,then we would be everyone’s favourite back yard super heroes 
Projects are paid for by the customer….., However, there are some pretty tasty perks (Landscaping, Styling) for all projects that are chosen to be on the show…keep your fingers crossed.

Does Cutting Edge still build decks, or do you only do design?
Wow!!! Does T.V ever take up a lot of time!!!….. We are currently only building the projects that will be featured on Decked Out, with the rest of our time devoted to designing for home owners all across North America. That being said, whether you are looking for a backyard design or not, we have a network of trusted builders in every neck of the woods that can service you.
What is the starting cost of a deck design?
A Paul Lafrance deck design starts at $1850.00. Your purchase of a design includes 10 hours of drawing and computer rendering time, which is pretty standard, as well as 3D photo-realistic images of the finished project.
Do you have recommended builders in my area?
Yes, in most areas across Canada and the greater US we can provide you with a recommended contractor* to help move along the logistical aspects of the design process, and, if you decide, to also bring your Cutting Edge design to life.

Will my design be an original Paul Lafrance design?
Yes every design concept is produced personally by Paul Lafrance and tailor made to suit you and your needs.
How long does the design process take from start to finish? When can I expect to receive my renderings?
You will hear back from someone in our design department within the first five days of contacting us. Depending on the size and complexity of the design, an initial 2-D design concept with be sent to you three weeks from when payment has been received. Completion dates are issued by the design department in stages throughout the design process and are subject to change as they are dependant on customer revisions and delays due to customer correspondence.
