I wanted the deck to match the modern feel of the new house so I incorporated high density foam post covers that looked exactly like the stone facade of the house. Using tempered glass over wood balusters, I opened up the view, and provided some shade with a curved cedar pergola. A cool stairway to the beach and some sweet lighting finished it off.

The Result? A radical (and legal) transformation! A beautiful focal point rather than an enormous eyesore. A good day at the office
