At Cutting Edge Construction and Design, we believe in the old adage “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
We offer Computer Generated Graphic Designs, using the latest design software, which enables you to view your back yard on-screen with your new deck. This eliminates the “fear factor” of not knowing what all these ideas are going to look like in reality, and lets you work with us to come up with just the right look and features for you. Perfectly rendered including even the most finite details, from bushes, trees, sloping grades, and pool/hot tub(s), to your house including exterior finishes, this type of designing takes all the guess work out of visualizing the finished product. All we need to design your dream deck is as follows:
- Digital or scanned pictures of the deck location from multiple angles
- Exact dimensions of your house including elevations from the ground to door entry points (click HERE for easy to use PDF form)
- Your Vision (i.e. size, use, accessories, privacy)
And here’s the good news . . . not confident your measuring skills are up to par? No worries. We have Cutting Edge Recommended Craftsmen all across North America. Once we get a feel for what kind of project you are looking at having designed, if you like, we can arrange to have a qualified local builder come and take all those measurements for you. They will forward the data, including digital images, to our office so we can get started on your design.
What exactly do you get?
When you choose Cutting Edge for a customized deck design, you will receive a plan drawing for your design, with notations describing design components and features, along with one that includes the measurements of your deck. You will also find three-dimensional images of the completed project, from a minimum of five different angles.
